Oysters Rockefeller

Preparation time 10 minutes, cooking time
10 minutes.
Ingredients:
80 gr. butter
2 cloves garlic crushed
500 gr. spinach, trimmed, chopped coarsely
24 medium oysters on the half shell
1/3 cup stale
breadcrumbs (25 g)
Preparation:
Melt half of the butter in a medium pan.
Add garlic and spinach; cook, stirring, about 3 minutes or until spinach is wilted.
Place oysters on oven tray; top with the spinach mixture, sprinkle with breadcrumbs. drizzle with remaining melted butter.
Grill until breadcrumbs are golden brown .
BLOODY MARY OYSTERS

Preparation time 5 minutes
Ingredients:
(serves 6)
250ml (1 cup) chilled tomato juice
80ml (1/3 cup) chilled vodka
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2-3 drops red Tabasco pepper sauce, or to taste Salt & freshly ground black pepper
6 Pacific oysters, removed from shells
6 x 8cm-long pieces celery, to garnish
Preparation:
Combine the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco in a large jug. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Divide oysters among six 30ml shot glasses. Pour over the tomato mixture. Garnish with a piece of celery and serve immediately.
